Tim’s Story
My name is Timothy Long, and I started Comfort Control Specialists because I believed people deserved better from their HVAC company.
I have spent years in the heating and cooling trade, and one thing always stood out to me: homeowners and business owners rarely knew if they were getting a straight deal. Too often they were told they needed a full system replacement when a repair would have done the job. Too often they waited all day for a technician who never showed.
That bothered me. So I started doing things differently.

How I Work
When I come to your home or business, I give you my honest assessment. If your system can be repaired at a fair cost, I will tell you. If replacement is the smarter move long-term, I will explain exactly why so you can make an informed decision. I am not here to sell you something you do not need.
I have had customers call me thinking they needed a new system and walked away with a simple repair that saved them thousands. I have also had customers who kept patching an old unit that was costing them more in energy bills and repair calls than a replacement would have. I try to look at the full picture and give people the same advice I would give a friend.
Comfort Control Specialists is a small, local company. That means I can give my customers real attention. I pick up my phone. I show up on time. I do the work right the first time.

Showing Up When It Matters
Emergency calls are part of the job, and honestly they are one of the things I take most seriously. When someone calls me in the middle of an Oklahoma summer because their AC has gone out and they have kids or elderly family members in the house, I do not wait until morning. I go.
That is just how I was raised. You take care of people. You do not leave someone in a situation you would not want to be in yourself.
More Than Just HVAC
Over the years I have found that customers sometimes need help beyond just the heating and cooling system. I do my best to be useful. I have fixed fireplaces, helped with dryer vents, handled small repairs while I was already onsite. There have been times I saved someone from buying a new appliance they did not actually need, just by taking a few minutes to look at what was wrong.
When something is outside what I can do, I will tell you, and I will try to point you toward someone trustworthy who can help. I am not trying to be a one-stop shop. I just genuinely like helping people figure things out.

We serve Tecumseh, Shawnee, Edmond, and the surrounding area. These are our neighborhoods. My customers are my neighbors, and I take that seriously.
I did not build this business on advertising. I built it on doing good work and treating people fairly. Most of my customers come from referrals and repeat business, and that means more to me than any review or rating.
